Show Public To Name Charming Girl To Rule '38 Poultry-Turkey Festival, July 30th; Iig Celebration Planned By Committee LIVELY COMPETITION I OK FFTF HONOR EXPECTED What charming young lady will rule the Poultry-Turkey day festival? festi-val? DeVere Wojotton, Queen committee com-mittee chairman, said that a lively contest to determine the girl to be crowned Poultay-Turkey Queen is expected. i The contestants may be nominated nominat-ed by means, of a nomination, blank printed with, this article. Votes will be given by business houses during the contest. As in past celebrations., a car will be awarded at the big evening entertainment. en-tertainment. This entertainment is expected to be a big feature of the festival, and a first-class vaudeville group, will be lined up for the evening. eve-ning. The general committee, at a meeting meet-ing Wednesday night, decided to go ahead with the celebration on a big scale. The parades, spoil events, free chicken sandwiches, night show, dances, carnival anu other events are expected to draw a record crowd to the city. The Parade and Advertising committees com-mittees this week were preparing an outstanding float to appear in the Spanish Buckaroo celebration at Spanish Fork, at the Ute Stampede, and at Salt Lake City, to invite Utahns to the celebration here. The American Fork band will appear ap-pear in the Spanish Buckaroo celebration cele-bration at Spanish Fork, to be held July 2, 3 and 4, and later at the Ute Stampede at Nephi, July 9.
