Show Scouts To Make Interesting Trek To Wild Section As a special feature of each Scout Camp the Kxplorcrs (older Scouts 15 years of ai;e or over) are holding a pack trip to the high points of interest. in-terest. The first of these pack trips was held In connection with Navajo Lake Camp with Chief A. A. Anderson, Ander-son, Scout Executive, as guide. Each fellow carried on his specially special-ly built puck frame all provisions, Including sleeping gear, tent, and food supplies. The party visited Cedar Breaks, Brian Mountain, and other Interesting spots during the three days out. Other Explorer pack trips will be taken out from each 1 camp. During August 15 to 20 a high mountain expedition will be made through the high Uintahs from Granddaddy Lake Area over ' Rockysee Pass to Savages Ranch. 1 This special feature for Explorer Scouts will be under the direction of A. A. Anderson, Scout Executive, ' and Dr. L. D. Pfouts, council chairman chair-man of camping. The trek will last 5 days, during which time the party will enjoy fishing, camping, hiking, exploring and other campcraft activities. acti-vities.
