Show Noted Dramatic Artist To Give Public Recital Here Maud May Babcock, former head of the University of Utah speecli department, de-partment, will make three appearances appear-ances in Pleasant Grove Monday, to give programs for the general public and special groups. An event of interest will be a recital re-cital of readings and plays, at the high school auditorium, Monday at 7:30 p. m. The general public is invited to attend this program. Other appearances oi miss iu-cock, iu-cock, under the aXispices of the University of Utah extension division, divis-ion, will be at the Pleasant Grove high school Monday morning, for students and the faculty; and at a meeting of the Faculty Women's club. The Faculty Women's club meeting meet-ing will be held at 4 p. m., at the home of Mrs. Harry Richards. Miss Babcock is widely known as a veteran speech instructor, having been a member of the faculty of the University of Utah for more than 45 years. Her appearance in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove is expected to be of wide interest. o |
