Show Last Rites For Mrs. Gardiner In Tabernacle Sun. Friends and relatives of Mrs. Annie An-nie Nichols Gardiner will pay last respects to her at funeral services which will be conducted Sunday at 1 p. m. in the Timpanogos stake tabernacle. Bishop Junius A. West of the First ward will be in charge. Mrs. Gardiner passed away at her home here Tuesday morning, following fol-lowing a heart attack. She was 75. She was born March 9, 1863, in Crewkerne, Somersetshire, England, a daughter of William and Ann Webber Nichols. Joining the L. D. S. church in England as a young girl, she emigrated to America in 1883, coming direct to Utah. She was married to John W. Gardiner Gar-diner in the Salt Lake Endowment house, August 30, 1883. Nine of her ten sons and daughters daugh-ters survive: Mrs. Charles Webber of West Jordan, Mrs. Walter Healey and John W. Gardiner of Salt Lake City, Mrs. E. T. Healey of Pasco, Washington; Heber, Alma E. and Robert L. Gardiner of Pleasant Grove, Joseph N. Gardiner of Orem and Roy H. Gardiner of Magna. Also Al-so surviving are 44 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Ellen McMillen of Salt Lake City; and two : brothers, Harry Nichols of Burley, Idaho, and Wal-, Wal-, ter Nichols of Bennion. Friends may call at the Olpin mortuary until 10 a. m. Sunday, and from 10 a. m. until time of the services at the home of Robert L. Gardiner. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. rv I |
