Show Ward Honors Retiring Bishopric In appreciation of the years of faithful service rendered by the retiring re-tiring bishopric, Lot Robinson, James E. Peters and Adolphus Pulley, Pul-ley, of the American Fork Fom-th ward, the members of the ward met at a program and social at the vfard house Wednesday evening. The social so-cial was very well attended. The following program was carried car-ried out: community singing, directed direct-ed by Mrs. Ann Hansen; prayer. Leo T. Shelley; ladies chorus, directed by Miss Dorothy Grant; reading, Mrs. Laura Timpson; trumpet solo, Peter Beck; reading, Miss Mildred Adamson; solo, Mrs. LaRue Morton; stunt, directed by Mrs. Carrie Beck; solo, Mrs. Myrtle Houston; remarks, member of the stake presidency; remarks, re-marks, Counselor James Peters; remarks, re-marks, Counselor Adolph Pulley; presentation of a gift to the retiring retir-ing officers by Bishop John Pulley; remarks, Bishop Robinson. The success of the party was due to the efforts of the new bishopric, John Pulley, Dan Jorgensen and Francis Abel, and the heads of the auxiliary organization of the ward. The Sunday School and Mutual Im- provement Association were in charge of the program and the Relief Re-lief Society and Primary prepared and served the refreshments. o |
