Show Alpine News Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. Guests during the past week of Mrs. Jessie Burgess were Mrs. Reed and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Hendricks and children of Lund, Nevada, mother moth-er and sister of Mrs. Burgess. Mrs. Mattie Larsen of Castle Dale and Mrs. Douglas Barnes and children child-ren of California, visited during the week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Strong. Mrs. Russell Bates entertained the Happy Dozen at her home Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon of last week. The usual activities were engaged in after which a dainty lunch was served. The Happy Dozen and their husbands hus-bands pleasantly surprised Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Devey Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Claud Conder and children of Olmstead were Sunday guests of relatives in Alpine. Mrs. Will Healey entertained the Ycung Mothers club at her home Thursday afternoon. The time was spent with needlework and social chat after which a dainty lunch was served. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Devey, Mr. and Mrs. Earl M. Devey and children, Mrs. Laurence Devey and children!
