Show Emergency Agricultural Agri-cultural Assistant Assist-ant Wanted Agricultural Adjustment Administration, Admin-istration, Department of Agriculture The United States Civil Service Commission announces that until further notice it will accept appli- ! cations for positions of emergency j agricultural assistant to fill vacan- ! cies in the Agricultural Adjust- i ment Administration of trip np. I partment of Agriculture. The examination ex-amination is open to qualified residents resi-dents of the State in which this paper is published. The salary range is $2,000 to $2,-600 $2,-600 a year, subject to a deduction of not to exceed 15 per cent as a measure of economy and a retirement retire-ment deduction of Z-V- per cent. The duties are to contact individually, indi-vidually, and through established agricultural associations and organizations organ-izations of farmers and producers, in the handling of details incident to securing the cooperation of farmers farm-ers in carrying out the provisions of the Agricultural Adjustment Act. Basic requirements are (1) Graduation Grad-uation from a recognized agrlcul-turay agrlcul-turay college, or (2) graduation from a college or university of recognized rec-ognized standing other than agricultural, agri-cultural, and residence on a farm until the age of 18 or until enter-ng enter-ng college or three years of actual farm experience. In addition, applicants ap-plicants must have had at least two years of experience in certain specified agricultural pursuits. There is provision for the substitution substi-tution of acceptable specialized agricultural ag-ricultural experience for college training.
