Mrs. Veloy Whitehouse of Salt Lake, was a guest of Mrs. Ethan Peay during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Hardin Kirkendall of Bingham, were guests of Mrs. Sine Nelson Wednesday. Mrs. Blanch Davies and daughter, Lila, of Salt Lake, were guests of Miss Ruby Williams during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Galli and Mrs. Alice Provst of Midway, were guests at the J. P. Fugal home Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Farrel'-Kirk and two children of Casper, Wyoming, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. A. Kirk and other relatives during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith of Salt Lake City, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. Miley Smith on Strawberry day. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Swenson, Audrey Au-drey and Lor-aine Swenson and Mrs. Luella E. Thome were in Salt Lake Friday on business and pleasure. The Misses Amy and Leona Cooper Coop-er left Monday morning for a trip to the World's Fair. They expect to ; be gone about three weeks, i ! Adams was pleasantly surprised last Thursday when two of her nieces, Mrs. Nellie Mae Ririe and Mrs. Allie Mae Robbinson of Alberta, Canada, called and paid her a short visit. ' Mrs. Ode Yancey has been confined con-fined to her home during the past .week with a burned right leg. She was draining potatoes for dinner and ' the lid slipped causing the water to miss the sink and spill on her leg. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Joseph and daughter, Betty, of Washington, D. C, arrived at the home of Mrs. Joseph's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Bullock on Strawberry day. They will remain for an indefinite visit , with relatives and friends in Utah. Mrs. L. L. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. ,Vern Nelson of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sjoberg, Miss Ilah Thome and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thome of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo R. Walker and family of Garland, were guests of Mrs. Regina Thome on Wednesday. Miss Nola Robinson of Sevier, is j visiting indefinitely at the home of Mrs. Laura Keetch. Miss Ruth F-age of Salt Lake, spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Mary B. Fage, at Lindon. Mr. and Mrs. William Littlejohn and Miss Janet Littlejohn of Price, were visitors at the Alhambra Theatre Thea-tre Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hillman of! Ei iggs, Idaho, were visitors last week er.d at the home of Mrs. LaRue Smith. Mrs. Sadie Chandler returned j Saturday from a trip to California. She reports a very pleasurable and profitable trip. Thome. t Mr. and Mrs. Glade Linebaugh were guests Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Vadal Childs at Spring-ville. Spring-ville. This special visit was to see a new arrival in the Childs family. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Clark accompanied accom-panied their son, J. O., to. Logan last I Wednesday. He will attend a three weeks band summer school there. Duane and Virgil Thome of Magna, Mag-na, are visiting this week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Olson. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Larson enjoyed Flag Day in Logan canyon and celebrated cele-brated the 10th birthday anniversary of their son Stanley. ' ! Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Robins and family of Afton, Wyoming, spent Sunday and Monday visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Will Robbins. .The last meeting of the W-2-D 1 4-H Sewing Clubof Manila was held ! Thursday at the home of Ester j Hahn. All of the girls cut and basted bast-ed underslips for themselves ready i to be finished in a few minutes after they arrived home. A social hour and refreshments were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Larson and family , motored to Logan last Wednesday Wed-nesday and left their son,. Max, there to attend a band summer school for i three weeks. He will study drum major, concert and harmony. The 'summer school is sponsored by the ;U. S. A. C. j Among those who attended the baseball game Sunday at Payson when the locals lost to Payson by a score of 7 to 13 were, Charles E. I Mrs. Florence Dickerson McCown and children, of Los Angeles, have been visiting the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jos. A. Dickerson. Dick-erson. Mr. and Mrs. McCown have been living in California for the past two years. Mr. McCown is employed em-ployed by the Prudential Life Ins. Co. and has been transferred to Salt jLake City and the family will reside re-side there in- the near future. Among those who attended the funeral of W. E.
