Show Funeral Services j Held For War- nick Child ! Funeral services were held in the i Manila ward chapel Wednesday afternoon, June 14:h, for little Myrna jLcy Warnick, 21 months old daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Warnick , of American Fork, who met her .death by drowning in an irrigation stream near their home the Sunday evening previous. j Bishop L. M. Atwcod was in charge j of the services. The pallbearers were four of the little girl's neighbors neigh-bors and friends: Erma Atwood, Myrl Miner, Hazel Miner and Wanda Clift. The opening selection was "My Faith In Thee", sung by Mrs. Ora Chipman of American Fork, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Inez McDonald. iLyean Johnson of Pleasant Grove offered the opening prayer. I The speakers were Bishop Rich of Brigham City; President Wilford W. Warnick of Timpanogos sta-ke; j Joseph Bjork of American Fork; Le-land Le-land Clark of Pleasant Grove, form-er form-er missionary companion of Blaine jand his wife, Veloy Wamick, in the Eastern States; Patriarch Fon Bate-man Bate-man of West Jordan stake, President S. L. Chipman of American Fork and Bishop L. M. Atwood. Bishop Atwood especially paid tribute tri-bute to Keil Rose for his skilled efforts ef-forts in attempting to saive the life of Myrna, and also to Wilma Bjork, and all the neighbors for their kind and helpful consideration. Other musical numbers were a vocal vo-cal solo "I Think When I Read That : Sweet Story of Old" by Miss Gertrude Ger-trude Gourley, accompanied by Miss jElda Neves. Miss Gourley also sang "0 My Father". Misses Beatrice and Maurine Monson rendered "Some-itime "Some-itime We'll Understand". Bishop Lot j Robinson of American Fork offered ithe closing prayer. As the funeral cortege entered the , building and also upon leaving, Mrs. Leland Clarke played upon the violin. The floral offerings were most profuse pro-fuse and beautiful and the building was filled to its seating capacity. jMany came from all parts of the j state to show their deep sympathy for the young parents and the fam-; fam-; ilies. j The grave was dedicated by Mr. Diamond of South Jordan. Interment Inter-ment was made in the Pleasant j Grove cemetery. |
