Show Eider David 0. McKay To Attend Stake Conference Regular quarterly conference for Alpine Stake will be held in the Al. ; pine Stake tabernacle this evening ' (Saturday) at 7:30 o'clock and three sessions tomorrow (Sunday), 10 a. m., 2 and 7:30 p. m. Elder David O. McKay of the General Authorities will be present at all sessions. The Sunday evening meeting will be under und-er the direction of the M. I. A. Tonight's session will not be for all the Priesthood, but for :the officers offi-cers as follows: Stake Presidency, High Council, Patriarchs, Stake Clerk, Bishops arid Counselors, Ward Clerks and all Priesthood quorum quor-um presidents, counselors, secretary ies and group leaders- The Stake Superimtendency of the Sunday School and the Stake Superintenden-cy Superintenden-cy of the Y. M. M'. I. A. are also in- i vited to be in attendance. At the meeting Sunday morning, all the Sunday School members except ex-cept the Primary and Kintergarten children are expected to be present. A feature of this meeting will be eight B.orinute addresses on assigned assign-ed topics to be given by the following: follow-ing: Bishop Edward W. Burgess, Leo G- Meredith, J. B. Parkr, Robert Clarke, J. L. Firmage, Myron R. Moyle, Frank G. Shelley and Bishop William S. Greenwood.' The Stake choir under the direc-I direc-I tion of K. J. Bird will furnish music for the conference sessions on Smr-day. Smr-day. It is earnestly requested that all the named officers be present at the Saturday meeting. A special campaign cam-paign is being made in the wards of the stake for a full attendance of all church members on Sunday. |
