Show Miss Leda Thompson and Clifton Clark of the stake board visited the Manila Ward Mutual Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. William Daybell and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Boren of Charleston, Charles-ton, were guests of Mr. and Mrs, Archie Boren on Friday. The Timpanogos Stake Road Show sponsored by the M. I. A. will be held early in November. The tri-stake tri-stake road show to follow soon after and be given before Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Thorne, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Parduhn, Mr. and Mrs. William Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Matthews and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Adamson enjoyed a trip to the state fair Thursday. 'Mrs. O. E. Grua supervised the work of Mr. Dixon's classes at the high school part of this week while Mr. Dixon was at the State Fair taking tak-ing care of high school exhibits. Mr. ana Mrs. W. W. Warnick, Mr-and Mr-and Mrs. M. S. Christiansen and Mr. and Mrs. Edmun Cragun of the Stake Presidency of the Timpanogos Stake were conference visitors at Salt Lake on Sunday. The M. I. A.'s of the First ana Second wards will hold a Halloween party at the tabernacle next Tuesday evening. Each person wiil bring an article of wearing apparel to be exchanged. ex-changed. It will be a novelty party and all members of the wards are invited. Dr. O. E. Grua and a brother I from the east and Isaac Hayes left J Monday for the Kiabab Forest in I Arizona to hunt deer. They expect-1 ed to be joined by two of the Dr.'s brothers from California. They ex. pected to arrive home Friday with two or three deer to their credit The bull calf of Merrill X- War-nick's War-nick's holstein herd was selected as one of ten animals for the FT ate herd to be sent to the Pacific International Inter-national Stock Show at Portland, Oregon October 26 to November 2. The selection was made from the stock of Mr. Warnick's exhibit at the state fair. Miss Ardena Atwood is home for a few days from the telephone nffien. Mrs. Chios Harper is at the telephone tele-phone office in her place. I |
