Saurtfay evening, LaVerle was honored at a party, the occasion being his birthday. 0 American Fork Cavemen Lose To Fayson Lions, 21-6 Payson high school's formidable Lions had much difficulty in taking the second football game of the season sea-son from the American Fork Cavemen Cave-men last Friday, October 4, at the Payson field. Coach "Rags" Inger-soll's Inger-soll's men fought hard, before sue. cumbing 21-6, and unexpectedly a touchdown when Birk, speedy halfback, half-back, eluded the Payson tacklers and made a 70 yard run for a touchdown- Okelberry's 90 yar'd run waa the most sensational performance of the game. The team, which is made up mostly of Freshmen and Sophomores and a few Juniors, will gain a lot of valuable valu-able experience for this year's grid battles, and will be one of the strongest strong-est teams in the division next year.
