Show Local Librarian Is Second Vice-President In State Organization Mrs- Emma Foster, librarian of the local Public Library, was elected second vice-ipresMent of the Utah Library Association at the State con-, vention held Saturday, October 5, in Ogden. Mrs. Foster was in attendance attend-ance at the convention with Mrs. Hannah Ashby, a member of the American Fork Library board. Miss Anna Ollerton, librarian at the B. Y- U., was elected president. The other officers follow: first Vice-president, Vice-president, Miss Merle Massey of Vernal; secretary .treasurer, Mrs. Ruth V. Tyler of Salt Lake City members at large, D. Spencer of Salt .Lake, Mrs. Kate H. Cragun of emithfield and Mrs. Bertha Millgate of Kaysville. The convention sessions were held in the Hotel Bigelow, the morning meeting consisting of a splendid program. pro-gram. Luncheon was served in the Japanese room. At the afternoon meeting, a musical program, reports, general business and the election of officers took place. A motor trip through Ogden canyon can-yon concluded the day's activities. |
