Show u Memorial Urges Utah Labor For Deer Creek Work Urging the employment of Utah labor on the construction of reclamation recla-mation projects in Utah, state representatives rep-resentatives from Utah county have drafted a memorial to the United States Bureau of Reclamation and to contractors on the Deer Creek project. The memorial asks specifically that Utah labor be employed on the Deer Creek project. It is addressed to the Bureau of Reclamation and to 'the Rohn-Connelly Construction company and George K. Thompson, contractors of units of the project. Prepared by Burton H. Adams, Glen E. Davis, Maud B. Jacobs, T. Earl Foote, Selvoy Boyer and Isaac Sorenson, the memorial asks that the Bureau of Reclamation "exert its influence" that Utahns be given preference for employment by the contractors. It also "vigorously requests" the contractors to give preference to citizens of the state, and the out-of-state men be employed only when Utahns are not available for em- |
