Show Ten Years Ago ! 1 Now t , ,. i (Taken from files of Jan. 24, 1925) Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Emmett Hallsey of Sumpter, California, which occurred Friday, January ICth. Ten Years Ago Now Old Folks Day Wednesday was a huge success. "Old Sol" beamed forth all day from a cloudless .sky. In all 332 covers were laid for the delicious dinner sw-ved at noon. Washburn Chipman, near 96, was the oldest gentleman present and Mrs. Niels Nielsen, 83, was the oldest old-est lady. Mr. and Mrs. Niels Nielsen carried off honors for being wedded the longest, having 66 yours to their credit. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. W. D.
