Show Oldest Lady In PI. Grove Dies Hannah Peterson, 88, oldest lady in Pleasant Grove, died at her home Wednesday morning at 9:30 a. m. of old age and general debility. She was born January 28, 1847, in Sweden. She came to Utah as a mormon convert when 15 years of age, crossing the plains with ox teams. After reaching Utah she lived in Lehi for two years and then came to Pleasant Grove where Ehe has since resided. Her husband, Rasmus Peterson, has been dead for 44 years. She has been an active church worker especially in the Relief Re-lief Society organization, acting as a teacher for many years. She is a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Surviving are her son Erastus Peterson, and daughter Mary Peterson, Peter-son, also five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Timpanogos Timpan-ogos stake tabernacle Sunday at 1 p. m., under the direction of the Third ward bishopric. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove cemetery, n . I |
