Stake Superintendent E. Ray ' Gardner and Clyde Crookston of the ' High Council were present. The pro- : gram was under the direction of Miss Leora Hansen. : Mr. Edward Clayton and daughter, Mrs. Bessie Holbrook of Salt Lake, were guests of relatives in Alpine the forepart of the week. Joseph ITealcy was taken to the ' Dehi Hospital, where he underwent a serious operation Monday. Mr. Hcaley is reported to be doing as well as can be expected. Mrs. Russell Bates and children are visiting this week with Mrs. Bates' j parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Strong at Salt Lake. ' Mrs. George Brown entertained the' Young Mothers Club at her home Thursday afternoon. The usual activities ac-tivities were engaged in, after which a dainty lunch was served. A dance is being given tonight (Saturday) in honor of the Alpine M Men who were the successful winners of the M Mens basketball contest in the Alpine stake.
