Show American Fork Slumps: Lehi Trims Cavemen 44-15 American Fork went into a slump Monday night, February 25, wheen Lehi, their ancient rivals, trounced them 44 to 15. In the recent game with I-chl American Fork gave them a real scare, but this victory for Lehi now gives the Purples a good chance to topple over Pleasant Grove in the final game, which was set for last night. (Friday). If Lehi won from Pleasant Grove, the two squads would be tied for the Alpine runner up honors. A loss of the game last night, will completely obliviate Lehi for this season. The American Fork contest was plaved at Tchi behind closed doors on account of the spinal meningitis epidemic. This game should have been played several weeks ago but was posponcd on account of the ban at that time. |
