Show Cragun Baby Dies A death that cast a gloom over the Windsor ward, was the 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmun Cragun, Jr., which occurred at their home last Friday evening. Sunday, June 16th, the little fellow had been playing in the yard and came in complaining ol pain in his ankle. His mother rubbed rub-bed and pacified the child, but ho still complained. On Monday the local lo-cal physician was consulted. He advised ad-vised the parents to have an X-rar picture taken which' was done at Provo. In the meantime, hot applications applica-tions and home remedies were applied. ap-plied. The second X-ray picture were taken but a consulation of several Provo doctors could not determine de-termine the exact cause of the trouble. trou-ble. The baby passed away at his home Friday, June 21. Physicians think blood poison caused by a broken brok-en blood vessel at the time the ankle was sprained to be the cause of the death. Funeral services were held Monday Mon-day at 2 p. m. in the Windsor ward chapel with Counselor Stanley Harris Har-ris in charge. The speakers were President W. W. Warnick, Thrron Whiteley and 0. G. Johnson. Musical numbers were a selection "Sometime We'll Understand" by Ethel Lowe, Reed Hales, Nona Baxter, Bax-ter, Leon Gordon ; a double quartette number "Consolation"; two vocal solos by Mrs. Edith Grant Young; "I Think When I Read That Sweet Story" and "Your Sweet .Little Rosebud Rose-bud Has Left You" and a solo "Farewell" "Fare-well" by Mrs. Mae R. Walker. The invocation was by C. G. Johnson, and . the benediction by. J. W. Gillman. Interment was made in the Spring-ville Spring-ville cemetery where the grave was dedicated by Henry Mower. o |
