Show Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Thorne arc rejoicing over the arrival of a winsome win-some baby girl born Saturday moriu ing at the Lehi hospital. Mother and baby are doing nicely. LMr. and Mrs. Will Livingston of Taocma, Washington, old friends of Mrs. H. S. Powell, called at her home Tuesday. She motored to Vivian Park with them and enjoyed a trout dinner and a fine motor trip. Roy Harris, who is employed at Bingham, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crane and Mr. and Mrs. L. Crane of Fort Harriman, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Harris Sunday. A welcome home social and program pro-gram will be given Friday evening at the Windsor ward in honor of Miss Jane Walker, who recently ret turned from a mission to the North-, western States. Mr. and Mrs. James D. Thorne entertained en-tertained last evening at dinner, in honor of the marriage of their son, Wendell E. Thorne on that date which occurred in Washington D. C. Also to remember their thirtieth wedidng anniversary. The tables were beautifully decorated with roses. Covers were laid for twenty guests. The out-of-town guests who attended at-tended the funeral of the child of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cragun, Jr., were: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mower of Manti, Mrs. Ed Holliman and son, Denna, of Castle Gate, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Cragun, Cra-gun, Mr. and Mrs. George Tucker of Provo, Oscar M. Mower, Orson H. Mower, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Mower, Mr. arid Mrs. J. R. Kindred and family, fami-ly, Thomas Duncan, Mrs. Charlotte Beardall of Springville, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Cragun, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hill, Mrs. Mary A. Barker, Wilford Cragun of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Heb-er Heb-er Mower and family, Charles A. Mower of Fairview, and Mr.-and Mrs. Moyle Terry of Draper. |
