Show Young Woman Goes to Final Reward Mrs. Leona Bonn Chaney, 26, died at the home of her mother, Mrs. George W. Miller here at 5:30 p. m. Monday following a year's illness. The young woman suffered a severe cold a year ago which developed into in-to tuberculosis and proved fatal. The deceased was born May 28, 1907, in Joseph, Sevier County, a daughter of Oscar and Isabelle Bonn. In 1925 she came to American Fork, and six years ago last September she married Donald Chaney of Portland, Oregon, in Nephi. Following her marriage she traveled extensively with her husband, but for the past year she has been here with her mother and step-father, her father having died some years ago. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, step-father, her husband, five brothers: Oscar and Daniel Bonn, Ely, Nevada; Alvin Bohn, Delta; James and Cecil Bonn of this city, also one sister, Mrs. Nola Hampton of American Pork. Funeral services were being held Thursday at 2 p. m. in the Fourth ward chapel as this paper went to press. |
