Show The Odd Couple' held over : PG men contribute much The Back Stage Cafe in Provo has announced that it has extended the run of "The Odd Couple," which stars two Pleasant Grove men, for two more weekends. Because of capacity crowds, the dinner-theater has decided to keep the show going through the weekends of May 6 and 7 and May 13 and 14. Keith Christeson stars as Oscar and Dennis Purdy is Felix in the popular Neil Simon comedy which has received excellent reviews since its opening. The play was performed this winter at Valley Center Playhouse in Lindon and the Back Stage Cafe asked the cast to perform again at their dinner-theater. Duke Major, director of the play, said that Dennis Purdie's unaffected rendering of Felix annoying habit of clearing his sinuses not only irritates Oscar, but the audience is humorously affected by it, too. Keith Christeson, the slob Oscar, performs his role to the point you are not sure where Oscar stops and Keith begins.
