Show Blue Crystals to stage melodrama in spring review his . s-: s; I Tf- ? Masses V y--J The Blue Crystals of Pleasant Grove invite you to their toe-tapping, toe-tapping, fun-time spring revue entitled: "Let's Go to the Movies." Admission is free and all ages are invited to attend. The show will be held at the Utah Pageant of the Arts Center, (old American Fork Jr. High) ThursdayMay 21, at 7 p.m. Using music from various movies, the corps will present a fun and entertaining show. They will be dancing and twirling to many movie themes, such as Judy Garland's "Over the Rainbow," a number of Walt Disney songs; the Sound of Music's "Edelweiss;" a "Gone with the Wind" number and much, much more. There will be a salute to the stars from little Shirley Temple to Sylvester Stallone. A number of highlights will enhance the show, starting with "The Perils of Pauline." With a medley of songs from "The Sting," the Star Crystal Tap Dance Team will tap out a melodrama complete with villain, damsel in distress and a hero. There's also a poor widowed mother and a dastardly duo to round out the drama. On the more serious side, the whole corps from ages 4 thru 16, will be presenting the wedding scene from "Fiddler on the Roof." Tami Jackson of Orem is Tzeitel, the bride-to-be married under a canopy by "Rabbi" Melissa Butler of Pleasant Grove. Also, the Senior Star Crystal Team will be performing a fast-paced fast-paced jazzrock dancebaton The Blue Crystals, who will perform "The Perils of Pauline," a melodrama, as a tap dance in the upcoming review, are, L-R, Tami Jackson, JaNae Peel, Calla Chandler and Lisa Atwood. number to Elvis Presley's "Jailhouse Rock." With the use of brooms, buckets, dishes, etc., they will perform a rollicking number from the movie "Annie." The production and corps is under the direction of Florence Adams.
