Show Open house to honor couple on Golden Wedding Anniversary i ";X r. v,...-.1itll I f The children of Ray W. and LaVerda Dalton Fenton are pleased to honor their parents' Golden Wedding Anniversary with an open house to be held Sunday, May 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the home of their daughter at 440 Locust Avenue, Pleasant Grove. They will also be honored with a family luncheon at noon. The couple was married on May 14, 1937. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on Jan. 13, 1955. Ray and LaVerda started their married life with a unique sort of honeymoon, making their first home in Little Cottonwood Canyon. They have lived most of their married life in Pleasant Grove, raising and selling beautiful crops of fruit. They have both served in different community and church positions. They enjoy camping and other activities with their children and grandchildren. They are the parents of three children: Mrs. Lloyd (Coleen) Atkinson, Leland R. Fenton and Boyd D. Fenton. They have nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Ray and LaVerda invite all of their friends and relatives to share this special occasion with them at the open house. They request no gifts.
