Show Simmons breaks state record in 400 meter run Todd Simmons broke the State 3-A 3-A record in the 400 meters with a blistering 48:55 clocking to lead Pleasant Grove to third place in Timp Invitational Track Meet Saturday. Simmons also won the 100 and 200 meters in the meet and was second in the high jump.
