J Alpine firms adds factory outlet this week v Grand opening for the new factory-outlet factory-outlet of "Little Things Mean a Lot," an Alpine sewing firm, will be Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 10-12. Owned by Cindy Pack, the firm is now located in new facilities at 50 West Canyon Crest, in Alpine. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9a.m. to 3 p.m. Their clearance sale goes from Thursday through Dec. 18. with doors open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Specials include first quality dresses from newborn to -I toddler; christening suits and gowns, newborn to 24 months; fabrics, thread, lace, ribbon and notions. Also available are special buys for - Christmas including stove top potpourri, scented stones, light bulb nr.gs. oils, acorns, etc. The firm has been in operation for the past several years and has previously been located in the basement of the Pack home in Alpine. A wholesale business, they make and sell christening dresses, suits and tuxedos for infants, toddlers and even the older child, selling to 300 to 400 stores through the United States. In the past, they have also had a line of dresses but in February decided to specialize in christening. Mrs. Pack says there are 30 to -10 businesses in the United States alone who have infant and toddler dresses compared to five major christening com panics. They are also producing a new line of funeral clothing for infants and premies. The firm employs 15 people, all working mothers. Hours are set so they can be home when school is out. At their new factory outlet, in addition to finished dresses and suits, the do-it-yourself home sewer can purchase fabric and supplies. |
