Ordinance No. 1985-- 6 approved by council AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT GROVE; CREATING SECTION OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANT GROVE TO MODIFY THE PLAN REVIEW FEE FOR GROUP R DIVISION 3 (DWELLINGS) AND GROUP M DIVISION 1 (PRIVATE GARAGES, CARPORTS AND SHEDS), AS SAID GROUPS AND DIVISIONS ARE DEFINED IN THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE ADOPTED BY PLEASANT GROVE CITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLEASANT GROVE CITY, UTAH COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section is hereby amended to read as follows: (C) A plan review fee as required pursuant to the provisions of Sec-tion and Section of the City Code of the City of Pleasant Grove shall be collected at the time the con-struction permit is issued. Section 2. Section of the City Code of the City of Pleasant Grove is hereby enacted. Said section shall read as follows: PLAN REVIEW FEE MODIFICATION: Nothwithstanding any provisions to the con-trary contained within the City Code of the City of Pleasant Grove, a plan review fee equal to twenty-fiv- e percent (25) of the applicable building permit shall be imposed on Group R Division 3 (dwellings) and Group M Division 1 (private garages, carports and sheds), as said building permit fees, groups and divisions are defined in the Uniform Building Code adopted by Pleasant Grove City. Section 3. Severability. The provisions of this Or-dinance are severable. Section 4. Repealer. The provisions of all prior ordinances which are inconsistent or in conflict with this Or-dinance are hereby repealed. Section 5. Effective Date: This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage, or twenty (20) days after its publication, whichever is sooner. David R. Holdaway Mayor ATTEST: Curtis B. Hughes, son of Otis M. and Mary J. Hughes, Pleasant Grove, is currently participating in exercise Team Spirit 85. The month-lon- g exercise is a combined exercise involving the military forces of the United States and the Republic of Korea. Nearly 195,000 personnel will participate. During Team Spirit, Hughes and other members of his command, Aircraft Carrier USS Midway, operating from Yokosuka, Japan, will be involved in various naval exercises, which will end in a major amphibious assault on the southeastern coast of Korea. Exercise Team Spirit 85 is the largest such exercise conducted in the free world this year. |
