The Blue Party has adopted 'The Doctors,' as the symbol of their party, using 'Blue Cares For You,' as their slogan. Shellie Eggett, daughter of JaLynn and Bernie Eggett, is running for Studentbody President. Shellie is currently Vice President of Finance in the student council. She enjoys drawing and painting. She is in the "Who's Who Among American High School Students." She loves the outdoors, and meeting people. Shellie plans to make this next year the very best. Julie Chipman, daughter of Bruce and Susan Chipman is running for Vice President. Julie enjoys playing the piano, skiing and most sports. She is in the drill team, ski club, and is the Junior Class Vice President. Jason Lemon is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lemon. He is interested in-terested in many things including government. Jason has been in volved in many activities in school such as Key Club, Youth City Council, National Honor Society, A Cappella Choir and Cloggers West. He currently maintains a 3.93 CPA, and has been selected to go to Boys State this year. He also enjoys playing the piano and skiing. Rosalie Garrett is the daughter of Dean and Patsy Garrett. She is running for the office of Vice President of Finance. She is a member of Youth City Council, FAH, National Honor Society and Key Club. She was chosen to go to I'GIIS Hlue Party. Back, Julie Chipman, Michelle Paul, Brian Smith, Dave Liddle, Jason Lemon. Front, Suzanne Smith, Shellie Eggett, Rosalie Garrett. Girls State this summer. Brian Smith is the son of Craig and Linda Smith. He has many interests including most sports, hunting, girls, music and having a good time. He has a 3.3 GPA and has participated in KPGR Radio. Brian is running for Spirit Chairman, Chair-man, and really looks forward to the challenge of trying to get the students of Pleasant Grove motivated into coming to all the events and supporting all school functions. Suzanne Smith is the daughter of Paul and Karin Smith. She is running for Special Events. She is a very dedicated student and wants the very best for P.G.H.S. Currently, she is president of Or-chesis Or-chesis and is also involved in the Drama Club. If she wins she will make the assemblies and other special events very promising. David Liddle is the son of Alfred and JoAnn Liddle. He is running for Vice President of Public Relations. He has multiple interests including most sports, computers, electronics, elec-tronics, mechanics and government. govern-ment. He is currently involved in debate and A Cappella Choir. He looks forward to the challenge of the studentbody elections. This is the Blue Party's platform: "We, the Blue Party, are devoted to the studentss of Pleasant Grove High School. If we are elected we will fulfill the offices as they are meant to be filled. We would also like to hold activities, events and programs that would include as many of the students as possible. We would also like to build upon the excellence presented by previous councils. We the Blue Party pledge to help the school to the best of our ability." |
