Show Grovecrest students win at fair On Wednesday, March 20, three Grovecrest fourth grade students won special honors at the Utah History Regional Fair. The theme of the Fair was "Triumph or Tragedy." Joanna Gee, daughter of Joseph and Imelda Gee, won first place in the Research Paper division for elementary students. Her paper was entitled, "Trans Alaskan Pipeline." Erin Christiansen, daughter of Gail and Elaine Christiansen, won first place in the Project division for elementary students. Her project was entitled, "Surviving the Depression in Utah County." Emily Gilson, daughter of Jim and Sandy Gilson, won second place in the Project division. Her project was entitled, "The American Civil War." These students will now take their entries to the State Competition. Com-petition.
