Brockbank has a wonderful knack for restoring old p pioneer homes. His residence in Spanish Fork was falling down when he started rebuilding it two years ago. "Fve dealt with Ramon Beck at the Bank of American ' Fork ever since we moved from California a few years ago. He loaned me enough to start redoing our first home. Other banks treat me like a stranger but Ramon rolls out the red carpet every time. It's worth the drive to be able to deal with my bank. Starr L. The name of the unit is deceiving. It implies that lucky hunters who drew an antlerless permit may hunt on the Timpanogos part of the unit. If hunters will read the written description of the hunt unit in the 1985 Big Game Proclamation, they will notice everything south of the Big Cottonwood Canyon road in Salt Lake County is not included in the hunt area. American Fork Canyon and all of the Utah County part of the unit is not open to these permits. This area will only be open to possessers of open bull elk permits. Those with antlerless permits found hunting outside of the prescribed unit will be cited. The antlerless ' unit includes: beginning at the junction of High-way 40 and Interstate 80 in Summit County; then southeasterly along U.S. 40 to the Summit-Wasatc- h County line; southwesterly along this county line to the Salt Lake-Wasatc- h County line; then southerly along this county inp , Highway 2 at Guardsman then westerly along ij.152-S- ; Wasatch Boulevard; then norther along Wasatch Boulevard to l then easterly along J" These permits are restrfcJ because winter habitat is iimi,!5 I, and the elk are forced too close populated areas where conflict, V arise. Remember hunters, only those J you with elk permits may carr' f rifles during the hunt. All others in the hunt party may carry '' shotgun, if in possession of a small ' game o combination license. Also, carry young hunting licen with your elk permit. Please wear hunter orange for safety and plea t do not shoot within one mile of homes or summer cabins. j With these tips in mind, have a safe and successful hunt.
