Show Kangaroo Hops at A.F. Hospital The "Kangaroo Hop," a popular new community service at the American Fork Hospital, will be Tuesday, April 10, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the hospital, according to hospital officials. The "birth-day party" is held to help children of expectant parents feel more at ease with the mother's impending hospital stay, and including a demonstration of the hospital admission process, and a tour of the labor and delivery and nursery areas. A room where Mommy might stay is visited, and it is explained to the children that they can visit Mommy and the new baby each day at special times and can talk to Mom on the telephone at any time. Balloons, certificates and refreshments are given each "party participant." Expectant parents and their children are invited to attend the party free of charge.
