Show Hospital Auxiliary Bazaar Friday Handmade cjuilts, afghans, baby cjuilts. embroidered dish towels, and many other gift items will be sold at the Volunteer Auxiliary bazaar at the American Fork Hospital on Friday, September 10 -tomorrow. Doors open at 11 a.m. in the downstairs patio area of the hospital --and --and if this bazaar is anything like past events, you'd better plan to come early. However, auxiliary officers do say, new items will be put out during the day to insure latecomers a selection. Always a popular spot for bazaar goers is the baked goods table. Here some of the best cooks in American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lehi and surrounding communities donate their specialties in homemade bread, cookies, cakes, pies and candy for your enjoyment en-joyment -- and to give bazaar goers the chance to lake home a treat for family members at a nominal cost (and without heating up your own oven.) For those who wish to eat while out shopping, a lunch will be available consisting of sloppy joes, potato salad and other snacks available to tempt your taste buds. For the youngsters, a miniature train will be operating in the parking lot area. All proceeds from the event go to purchase needed equipment for the hospital, said Carma Colledge, Lehi, Volunteer Auxiliary President and general , chairman of the event. |
