GRAND OPKNING- - Staff members at Friday's Office Supply invite customers to grand opening of newly enlarged store Sept. Friday's Holding Grand Opening Priday's Office Supply is holding a grand opening begin-ning today, September 9, and continuing through Saturday, Sept. 11. Marie Sherwood, new owner of the American Fork business firm, said the store has been enlarged and many new items added to the in-ventory in every department. Mrs. Sherwood took over the store the first of July, and invites area residents to drop in and get acquainted with staff members and with the store's mer-chandise. "We have expanded our office supply line and ean serve the needs of area businesses even more fully than in the past," Mrs. Sherwood said. In addition, the business carries a full line of LDS books and manuals as well as a good selection of children's books, cook books and other volumes. They offer a wedding gift service, and carry many items needed by the bride-to-b- e including wedding invitations, wedding guest and gift list books, feather pens, and napkins. "We do printing on the napkins," Mrs. Sher-wood said. Priday's also carries a good selection of gift ware items for all occasions. In addition they have greeting cards for all occasions, school supplies, and adding machines, calculators and typewriters for sale or rent. One of their most used pieces of equipment is the copy machine. For five cents a copy, you can get nearly anything you need copied in-cluding both legal and letter size items. The firm took over what used to be "The Diet Center," knocking out the wall and finishing this as the book center. The cash register has also been moved nearer to the front of the store, enabling employees to use the expanded space at the back to display merchandise in an way for the buyer and the browser. For your gift, business, or personal needs, why not drop in and see what is offered at Priday's? Hospital Auxiliary Bazaar Friday Handmade cjuilts, afghans, baby cjuilts. embroidered dish towels, and many other gift items will be sold at the Volunteer Auxiliary bazaar at the American Fork Hospital on Friday, September 10 tomorrow. Doors open at 11 a.m. in the downstairs patio area of the hospital if this bazaar is anything like past events, you'd better plan to come early. However, auxiliary officers do say, new items will be put out during the day to insure latecomers a selection. Always a popular spot for bazaar goers is the baked goods table. Here some of the best cooks in American Fork, Pleasant Grove, Lehi and surrounding communities donate their specialties in homemade bread, cookies, cakes, pies and candy for your en-joyment -- - and to give bazaar goers the chance to lake home a treat for family members at a nominal cost (and without heating up your own oven.) For those who wish to eat while out shopping, a lunch will be available consisting of sloppy joes, potato salad and other snacks available to tempt your taste buds. For the youngsters, a miniature train will be operating in the parking lot area. All proceeds from the event go to purchase needed equipment for the hospital, said Carma Colledge, Lehi, Volunteer Auxiliary President and general chairman of the event.
