Lee Kirk, American Fork, died Sunday December 13, at t he A m eric a n Fork Hospital. He was born April 10, 181)8, al Lindon, Utah, a son of Samuel and Lydia Ann Mayhew Kirk. He married Iris Miller April 19. 1919 in Provo. Hamilton, Mont. Funeral services were held on Wednesday Dec. 16, al 12 noon in the Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the American Fork Cily Cemetery. The marriage was later solemnized in the Sail Lake LDS Temple. He was an employee of United Stales Fuel Co. for 43 years. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion, 48, and the Last Squad. He was a high priest and an active worker in both the Salt Lake and Provo Temples. He has been active in the Senior Cil izens for many years. Survivors include his wife and one son, Dr. William S. Kirk, both of American Fork; a daughter, Helen Lee Kirk, preceded him in death; three grandchildren; grand-children; two greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anne Jean Brimley, Salt Lake Cily; four half sisters, Mrs. Joseph Ash, Lindon; Mrs. Beth McNese, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Alvin Bowden, Vernal; and Mrs. Madge Stover, |
