Show Holdaway Chosen For Board Post David R. Holdaway, mayor-elect of Pleasant Grove City, was named as a member of the Board of Directors of the Utah League of Cities and Towns at a workshop held recently in Salt Lake City. Holdaway said his goal was to get the concerns of Pleasant Grove and similar-sized cities brought to the attention of the league. He felt in this new position he might be able to help. He was elected to a two-year term on the twelve man board. The board will help formulate the policy of the league and determine the direction it will go. Holdaway said he was selected because they were trying to get representation from different size towns on the board. He said he would appreciate any input from the citizens which he could present to the board. Councilman Holdaway said he was pleased (hat the league had seen the need for belter representation on the board. |
