Mayor Honored at City Employees Party The annual city employees Christmas party this year had a sense of fun and sadness, sad-ness, as the city bid goodbye to Mayor Cornell Haynie and two of the councilmen, Frank Mills and Steve Peterson. Councilwoman Donna Brock presented to the mayor were several of the city employees. Lynn Zufelt said that when the city has a clean-up day, the mayor never just came for a few minutes lo make a showing, but that he really kicked in and participated in the project until it was over.
