Whittle, son of. Lee M. Whittle, Sr., and Connie E. Whittle, Brawley, California, in a ceremony to be per-formed in the Salt Lake Temple Friday, December 18. A reception will be held that same evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center, 275 E. 500 S. Special guests will be the grandmother of the bride, Myrtle Garland, and the groom's grandmother, Lera B. Whittle. Attending the bride will be Cindy Beagley as maid-of-hono- r, with Diane Whittle, Holly atid Cindy West as bridesmaids. Flower girls will be Krichelle McCann and Nichole West. Serving as best men will be George Whittle and Mark Ricks. Ushers will be Bob and Debbie Crow and Mark and Kayleen West. Prenuplial showers were given by Cindy Beagley, and sisters of the bride, Debbie Crow and Holly and Cindy West. Robyn graduated from Pleasant Grove High School and seminary and is at-tending BYU, majoring in elementary education. She has been a member of the BYU folk dance performance team while in school and studied abroad in Israel this past summer. Mark graduated from high school in California and attended BYU a year before leaving lo serve a mission in Australia. He will continue to pursue a career in e. Both will continue their education and will reside in Provo. Rowley, MSW.CSW, a licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Center. The lecture is designed to deepen one's understanding of the problem and offer suggestions regarding personal and family coping mechanisms. Death Valley and Indio Date Festival Tour Planned For Utah Seniors Because of the special interest in the Provo Senior Citizens lyealh Valley and In do Date Festival, we have started a second bus which will depart from Provo on February 12 and return on February 20. The facility is a 24 hour nursing care and rehabilitation center with a progressive care philosophy. The 120 bed center currently sup-ports programs in current events, crafts, music and literature to name but a few. Talents of every persuasion are utilized and very much appreciated. Homema-ker- s are needed to share a few noon hours a week with residents. Other events may include the demo-nstration of food preparation to a group of budding gourmets, taking residents shopping, and simply visiting. Retired per-sons provide a special gift by sharing the skills they have mastered Vn'" their life's work. There is also a demand' for church related programs. Community in-volvement is an essential element in bringing vitality to the residents of the home. Volunteers are im-portant in the physical, social and spiritual needs of the residents. The efforts put forth by the volunteer is returned many fold by the love and ap-preciation of residents and staff. The memories, talents and friendship given lo the volunteers is out-standing.
