Show Boyd Butler Named To Management Two management appointments in Ihe Rolling Mills Division al U.S. Steel's Geneva Works were announced today by R.P. Judd, division superintendent. Boyd L. Butler of Pleasant Grove was named roll designer and Richard M. Mitchell of Orem was appointed I urn foreman in the roll shop. Mr. Butler's sleelmaking career began in February 1980 as a Geneva Works management associate assigned to Ihe Rolling Mills. In 1981, he was pro m ol ed I o t he management position of turn foreman of Ihe roll shop and he held this position al Ihe time of his current a p -point merit. He holds a B.S. degree in physics and a B.S. degree in manufacturing manufac-turing engineering from B r i g h a m Young University. Mr. Mitchell began his U.S. Steel career in 1968 as a laborer in Geneva's Coke and Coal Chemicals Division. Since then, he has held various positions throughout the plant. Prior to this recent management appointment, ap-pointment, he was serving as spell foreman of the roll shop in Ihe Rolling Mills Division. He majored in zoology al Snow College in Ephraim and in geology at Brigham Young University. |
