Grove Camp I DUP Holds Meeting Friday The Pleasant Grove Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers held their monthly meeting Friday Nov. 12th with 2nd vice captain Nelda Rawlings conducting and Captain Lucille Taylor presiding. The- minutes of their last meeting were read by Ina Iverson. The roll call showed 23 members present. Hor-tense Hor-tense Fronk played the prelude music and accompanied ac-companied the singing. The opening prayer was by Louise Barrett. The lesson was very interestingly in-terestingly given by the teacher Lourie Morrill on Early Day Cemetery's and burial spots. Midred Walker gave a history ot the early day industries in-dustries in PI. Grove. She showed very good pictures of brick making as well as many of the men who worked there. Our Christmas Party was discussed and will be held on I Dec. 10 at our regular meeting. .The program wil be in charge of Hortense Fronk who is one of our older members of the Camp and is always very dependable. We hope to see all of the members present that day to enjoy our Christmas party. |
