Show Pioneer Museum, Log Cabin Has Visitors During Fall Days During the beautiful September days many visitors have been attracted to tour the Pioneer Museum and Log Cabin on Pioneer Park, first east and first south. All expressed ex-pressed appreciation for the exhibits on display. Two fourth grade classes of Grovecrest School and their teachers, Maxine Fugal and Helen Harper spent an afternoon af-ternoon at the historic buildings looking at photographs of Pleasant Grove's early settlers and comparing the home-making and farm tools used in those early days with the present. They were especially interested in-terested in the spinning wheel, the carpet loom, the churn and ice cream freezer and the beds with si raw tick and pillows. Also they liked the fashionable hoop skirt. Other groups who enjoyed a tour were the two dens of cub scouts from the Grove ward and their den mothers, Mrs. Jay Schoonover and Mrs. Dee Campbell. A family party, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Cook and visiting relatives were Mr. and Mrs. Dorothky Watkins of Hannibal, Missouri and Mrs. Pauline King of Jacksonville, Illinois. Mr. Cook showed the visitor-who visitor-who were guest at his home, the photographs of his ancestors an-cestors and told the story of their early life in Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walker and Mrs. Louie Gillman acted as guides for the tours.
