BRADFORD New UVIDA Manager Richard Bradford Named UVIDA's New Manager The UVIDA Board of Directors, at a regular meeting held on Wednesday, Sept. 24 appointed a new manager to succeed Bob Karpowilz, who recently resigned. Richard M. Bradford, was selected by the board from five outstanding candidates to be the new manager. He will assume the position on or before October 20. Mr. Bradford, a native of Salt Lake City, is at the present lime living and employed in the Los Angeles area. He is married, has three children, and has considerable knowledge of public and legislative issues backed by business acquired during the past nine years three years with (he Colorado Automobile Dealers Association, thre years with the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce, and two years as manager of the Hedlands Chamber of Commerce. Com-merce. From 1974 to the present he has been executive director of Concerned Citizens for Property Rights Inc. , a group established to promote the interests of land developers and property owners in Los Angeles County. He has had full responsibility for all legislative and public relations. He has been a registered California legislative advocate. Mr. Bradford is a graduate of the University of Colorado, with a degree in business management. He has had much experience in governmental affairs, public' relations, community relations, and area development in the years he has worked in various jobs. UVIDA is a Utah County sponsored organization backed by the county government, city governments and other organizations to bring industrial in-dustrial development and business into the Utah County area. As manager of this organization, Mr. Bradford will be working under a board of directors representing the various county governments, in an effort lo improve Utah County's industrial and business development. |
