Show Dr. Lynn Scoresby to Speak at PTA Meeting Tonight at 6:30 "School and Parental Strategies for Fostering Moral Development" will be the topic .of an address to be delivered tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove High School auditorium by Dr. Lynn Scoresby who's work deals with developing school and family cooperative projects. Schools alone or parents alone cannot provide instruction in-struction and experiences sufficient to combat the evils and temptations facing young people today. It must be a cooperative effort. The youth in your home or your school will benifit only to the extent of your interest and involvement in contributing your ideas and your efforts. Dr. Scoresby is a professional in his field. He has the qualifications, the skills and is making these available to our Community Involvement Program. Are you aware of the stumbling blocks placed before the young people of Pleasant Grove, Manilla and Lindon? Do you know what is currently being done to make improvements? im-provements? Are you concerned con-cerned about what you see? Do you often wonder what you can do about it? Parents of all age students, teachers, youth leaders, P.T.A. officers and high school students are encouraged to attend and participate. Individual schools, families and church leaders will discuss and implement programs to strength the moral values of the young people in our community. You are needed ! |
