Show 1 .. s - ; r f V I .. 3 t . 4-H HORSEMEN Clinton Zeeman, Linda Sorenson, Deborah Morgan, Nita Killpack, Jeanne Harvey, Monica Liston, Denise Grange are 4-H Horse show team 2d place. 4-H County Horsemen Are 2nd Mali County 4-11 Horsemanship Hor-semanship learn of Clinton Zeeman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Zeeman of Payson; Linda Sorenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Sorenson, Spanish Fork; Deborah Morgan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Morgan, Provo, Nita Killpack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Loren Killpack, Orem, .Jeanne Harvey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. 11. Harvey, American Fork, and Monica Liston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merrrill Liston, Pleasant Grove, and Denise Grange, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Grange, Orem, participated in regional competition held at the Pleasant Grove arena and won top honors which sent them to the state competition held at the Coliseum in conjunction with the Utah State Fair. They put forth their best efforts in a written test, showmanship at halter, Western horsemanship, pole bending and keyhole race, and tied for 1st place with the Box Elder County team and the tie was finally broken in favor of Box Elder, giving the Utah County team second place honors. Each team member won a beautiful rosette ribbon and a cash award. The team was coached by the County 4-H Extension agent, Scott McKendrick and Janeen Kunolfson, of Pleasant Grove, w ith aid from Loren Killpack of Orem. |
