Civil Air Patrol Training, Needs Air Observers Members of the local unit of Civil Air Patrol began training in communications and observer ob-server training with the Oct. 1 meeting. Observers are needed to assist pilots in locating downed aircraft or other search objects. Civil Air Patrol is n volunteer organization designed to aid in emergency situations. New members are constantly being sought. Anyone can join male or female, young or old. You can train in any areas you wish. No military obligation is involved. in-volved. The public is invited to join in the activities at any time. The Provo Composite Squadron meets on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Civil Air Patrol building at the south end of the Provo Airport. Merrill Liston of Pleasant Grove is the Squadron's Finance Officer.
