Show Utah Collie Club Holds Meeting In Pleasan Grove The Utah Collie Club, Inc. held its monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. Nancy Nelson, 490 East State Road, PI. Grove Saturday, Oct. 16 at 8 p.m. Members present included President Stephen Lange, Riv-erton, Riv-erton, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mull-er, Mull-er, Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Parker, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Russell and son Mike, Mr. and Mrs. Fran Galland, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Robert La vine and Mrs. Judy Young, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Diane Anderson, Sandy; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rose, of Granger, and the hostess. Seven applicants were voted in as new members of the club. Mrs Judv Young, with the aid of her show collie "Blaze" demonstrated foot care and the correct way to groom a collie. A program report on "The Collie Breeders' Code of Ethics" Eth-ics" was given by the committee commit-tee chairman, Mrs. Judy Rose. Several members reported that four litters of puppies are due to arrive in November. Meetings of the September meeting were read by Mrs. Ra-mona Ra-mona Russell. President Lange reported on the collie specialty and all-breed matches held in Salt Lake City on Sept. 19. Problems encountered in planning plan-ning and executing Plan B Dog shows were discussed. The Utah Collie Club, Inc., is chartered by the American Kennel Club, with whom all members purebred collies are registered, and officially recognized recog-nized by the Collie Club of America.
