Show Garden Club Has Officer Election At Last Meeting The Pleasant Grove Garden Club held their November meeting at the home of Mrs. Daryl Huish Monday night. President Lucille Hillman conducted matters of business and gave the thought for the month. New members and guests were introduced. Clyde Beardall and Glade Walker came to the meeting and presented the proposition of a proposed, and showed plans, for a Tri-City Municipal Golf Course, to be located near the State Training School in American Fork. Mr. Beardall and Mr. Walker said it could be a financial asset to the com-muities com-muities participating after the initial cost of construction was taken care of, which they said would only be a matter of a few years. The Garden Club then held election of officers with nominations nomin-ations from the floor and then voting by secret ballot. Officers for the coming year will be installed in-stalled at the December meeting meet-ing to be held with partners at a Christmas party at the Alpine Country Club. After the election of officers, club members had a Christmas exchange of ideas. Many varied var-ied and interesting Christmas ideas were shown. At each monthly meeting of the Garden Club a flower arrangement ar-rangement is displayed. Chrysanthemum Chry-santhemum is the flower for the month of November. Mrs. Alice Simper made a beautiful arrangement of lavender chrysanthemums, chry-santhemums, enchanged by clusters of lavender grapes. The flowers were from her own garden. Refreshments were served by the hostess to guests: Mrs. Thome Smith, Mrs. Layne Atwood, Mrs. Val T. Christiansen Christian-sen and the following club members: . Mrs. Lucille P.
