Show f lOden's Oden's Ode By BOB YORK The Dance is coming The Dance is coming The Viewmont Girls Girl's Association Association Association was in charge of the weeks activities Wednesday the staged our Patriotic Assembly This assembly drew dose close connections between Girl Association and Historical events I ONLY regret that I have but one date to give for the dance Give me a date for the dance or give me death These historical sayings were just two that were used in inthe inthe inthe the assembly The music department department department de de- tied the historical events and sayings together by singing The assembly was wasa a big hit and the did dida a great job TOMORROW Saturday will top lop off the week The dance starts at pm p.m. The theme and mood for the dance is Camelot The theme song for the dance is If Ever I Would Leave You The preferred men chosen this year which are to reign over the dance are Senior Mike Belnap Junior Mike Workman Sophomore Steve Smoot Our Rugged Road Runners better known as the Cross Country Team brought honors home once again Nov 5 the region meet was held Viewmont's Cross Country Team brought back fourth place They beat all of the Davis County High School teams Outstanding runners this year were Steve Sam Nez Dave Castle Castleton ton Doug Reid Roger Troth Brent McRae Kerry Olsen Rick Martin Raymond Snow Craig Richards and Bruce Hayward VIEWMONT'S Superb Swim Team is underway and has dove into the swim of things Coach Bateman Bateman Bateman Bate- Bate man and his fabulous fishes are hard at practice and they promise to be a great tea team As the winter nips the air and turkeys become scarce you ou know basketball and wrestling teams are hard at work The teams are well underway and look good In Inthe Inthe Inthe the coming weeks we will do specials on these teams THE HAVE a Happy Day award goes to Stana Smoot Stana has the Biggest big toe in all of the Senior Class It seems that most of the credit for this fabulous foot goes to a certain heavy drawer The drawer most unfortunately unfortunately unfortunately un un- un- un fortunately came to a rest upon her big toe |
