Announcements can be mailed to P.O. Box 368S. Men's Golf Association The Men's Golf Association is sponsoring a charity golfathon called the "National Golf Day Marathon." Everyone is encouraged to make a pledge by calling the golf shop at 649-8701. Terry Outzen and Mike Kut-cher Kut-cher are hoping to golf 100 holes for the charities sponsored spon-sored by the PGA on behalf of the National Golf Association. The local golfathon is asking for a minimum pledge of five cents a hole. The Men's Wednesday Night League will hold a "One Club" event on August 3, with tee times beginning at 3 p.m. For more information call 649-8701. A Juniors Tournament will be held on August 8 with tee times beginning at 8 a.m. Participants should sign up before tournament date in the pro shop. Ladies' Golf Association On August 2, the Ladies' Golf Association will sponsor a "Longest Drive" and "Closest to the Hole" competition. com-petition. A meeting and luncheon will follow the tournament T-G-l-F League The T-G-I-F League is holding a "Mixed Best Ball" tournament Friday, July 29. Instead they will meet at 4 p.m. at Rotary Park to begin work on the Pavillion and the restrooms. |
