Show Mad and frustrated Editor: Could you imagine picking up your car and paying the exact price as quoted to you? When I picked up my car, the amount they asked me for was fifteen dollars more than they had quoted to me and that had only been ten minutes earlier on the phone. This incident was not the only one. Another time, I was quoted a price on yet another car repair and they forgot to include the cost of labor which more than doubled the original quoted price. I figured enough was enough. I got mad but that didn't really do me any good because the next and last time I had my car in the shop proved to be the most frustrating. ' , I arrived at the garage to pick up the car. I paid the people, got into the car and when I tried to start it, the battery was dead. I couldn't believe it. I began laughing although I didn't feel it was all that funny. Next, I went to open the hood for a look and the release cord was hanging out of the front of the car about half a foot. Quietly, ! got into the car, found a pen and began to write this article. The one thought about people in the service business that runs through my mind is something someone once said to me. She told me that these people are here to help us and it's true. The more they help us, the better they are doing their job. Hopefully, the people that have experienced the importance of being helped have learned through that experience about the meaning of helping. It's a great feeling to help someone and it's also a nice feeling to be helped. I mean, could you imagine if the price you were quoted on a car repair was higher than the actual price you paid because someone actually went out of their way to find a good deal for you?
