Sunday School through Confirmation classes are held at 9:15 at the home of Judy Elkins, 2059 Venus Court, Park Meadows. Adult Sunday School classes will be held at the same time at the home of Teri Toelcke, 2076 Venus Court, Park Meadows. Fees will be charged according to your ability to pay. All services are confidential. Call 649-5989. clinics to be held The Park City Community Clinic will be holding three clinics in January. On Thursday, January 8th there will be a morning clinic; on January 14th and 28th, there will be Wednesday evening clinics. This program offers comprehensive family planning services such as: Physical exam, including a pelvic exam, breast exam, blood and urine tests, blood pressure check, and pap test. Counseling and educaion regarding infertility, sterilization, steriliza-tion, natural family planning, contraception, and contraceptive methods. Other services include V.C. screening, diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections, pregnancy testing, and contraceptive con-traceptive supplies. An appointment is required and may be made by calling 649-5989. or stop by the office at 1515 Park Ave. (in the basement). Most services are at a minimal charge, while other services are on a sliding fee scale (you pay according to your income and the number of people who live on that income). , All services are confidential. new vehicle office hours Due to increased applications for new titles, transfers, and renewals on automobiles, Roy Stones of the Motor Vehicle Division has announced that as a courtesy to the public, new hours for application will be 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. every Wednesday at the Memorial Building. The previous hours were 2 to 4. This is a one hour extention. i community clinic . Wednesday, January 28th will be the next clinic date for the Park City Community Clinic, Inc. This is a family planning program available to everyone desiring such services. These services include: Physical exam, including the PAP test; counseling and education regarding contraception, infertility problems, and sterilization; pregnancy testing, V.D. screening, diagnosis and treatment of vaginal infections, and contraceptive supplies. All services are confidential. lamaze classes Lamaze Classes are now being held in Park City each Saturday from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. The classes cover: mechanics of labor and delivery; breathing and relaxation; options of the laboring couple; baby care; birth control; changes in pregnancy. The first 6 classes will be held at the Park City Community Clinic, 1515 Park Ave (in the basement). The 7th class will be in Salt Lake City. The cost is $40.00. The instructor is Margy Batson, R.N. and a Certified Lamaze Instructor. (2) How come kids take drugs? (3) Facts and symptoms (4) What can we do? The presentation will be on Thursday, January 22nd, at 7:30 p.m. at the new Parley's Park Elementary School. Speakers will include Bob Pingree and Teresa Nelson. funds report available General revenueing funds report is available for inspection at City Recorders Officer, 528 Main Street. kpcw to expand board KPCW, Community Wireless of Park City, is expanding its Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees is the legal licensee of the radio station and sets policy, hires staff, raises funds and, in general, makes certain that the station operates in the best interest of the areas it serves. The members of the Board of Trustees are expected to be active in the affairs of the station. Corrmunity Wireless is committed to creating a governing board that is broadly representative of the areas served by the station. Priority will be given to interested persons epresenting Senior Citizen groups and other educational, cultural and service organizations of broad-based membership and purpose. The prospective member of the Board should recognize that he or she has legal responsibility for the radio station and should be willing to devote at least five hours per month to station business. KPCW is now engaged in a comprehensive program of upgrading the service it offers to Wasatch and Summit County residents. The next few months will see the station" move to become part of the National Public Radio Network and obtain funding from 1 the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
